The new grade 8s spent their first day getting acquainted with school. Among other activities they partook in were choosing subjects, - high school subjects😲📖! the music aptitude test for those who see themselves as future music maestros🎼, taking in the large number of clubs and sports they can join as well as being allocated classes.

Different educators took time to speak to them. The Headmaster, Mr Taba welcomed the learners reminding them how privileged they were to be at Kimberley Boys' High School where it is the mandate of every teacher to mould them into well rounded boys in the five years they are going to spend at the school. He informed the boys that just as they had expectations, much was expected from them too, to make their stay at KHS fruitful.
