Kimberley Boys’ High School has received a welcome donation from the Sport, Art and Culture Department. Mr Mpho Motshapi, the Northern Cape Sports Promotion Officer at the Department arrived at the school this afternoon bearing gifts that include 3 soccer balls, a soccer kit and 2 whistles, much to our delight. The donation is part of the annual Sport, Arts and Culture Department drive to promote sport in the Frances Baard District schools. Kimberley Boys’ High School became the 27th school to benefit from this project through which a second donation is expected in April 2021. Since reverting to COVID-19 Alert Level 1 recently, KHS soccer can be said to be already in full swing with the teams having already tucked away more than 5 games, winning most. The donation could not have come at a better time. Thank you Sport, Arts and Culture Department.
