One of the main objectives of the KHS Science Club is to develop learners' appreciation of, and concern for issues in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. One way to achieve this is by hosting awareness campaigns at school about environmental issues and commemorate both national and international environmental calender days.

On the 22nd of April 202, International World Earth Day, the club members pledged their support for environmental protection by raising an awareness and educating their fellow school mates about the day.

The theme for this year was "Restore our Earth". The boys visited various classes during lesson time and raised awareness around the challenges regarding the well-being of the planet and all the life it supports.
