On Monday, Omaatla Mothata returned from the week long trip to Ghana where he represented South Africa at the 2021 African Youth Chess Championships. The school warmly welcomed him at the airport and took him briefly to school where an assembly was held in his honour.

Our warm gratitude goes to one of the school stakeholders, BBB Mojaki Engineering Solution who donated a handsome amount towards Omaatla's accommodation and pocket money while he was in Ghana.
